Responsibilities:
- Harvesting: Engage in hands-on harvesting activities, picking fruits or vegetables according to specified guidelines and timelines.
- Sorting and Grading: Inspect harvested produce, sorting and grading based on quality standards to ensure only premium crops reach the market.
- Operate Machinery: Safely operate and maintain agricultural machinery (tractors, harvesters, conveyor systems) to enhance harvesting efficiency.
- Packaging: Prepare harvested crops for transport by appropriately packaging and labeling, ensuring compliance with storage and transportation guidelines.
- Field Maintenance: Assist in general field maintenance, including debris clearing, fence repairs, and addressing irrigation needs.
- Adherence to Safety Protocols: Follow strict safety guidelines to maintain a secure working environment for yourself and team members.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with supervisors, farm managers, and team members to coordinate tasks and achieve harvesting objectives.
