Location: York, ON Salary: $20.50 per hour / 40 to 60 hours per week

Responsibilities:
Team Leadership:
- Recruit, train, and oversee a diverse team of kitchen and front-of-house personnel.
- Cultivate a positive and collaborative work environment, emphasizing teamwork and professional growth.
Operational Management:
- Supervise day-to-day restaurant operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures to optimize efficiency.
Customer Service Excellence:
- Establish and uphold high standards for customer service, ensuring exceptional dining experiences.
- Address customer concerns promptly and strategize ways to enhance satisfaction.
Inventory and Cost Control:
- Manage inventory levels and monitor food and beverage costs, implementing cost-saving measures.
- Collaborate with chefs and suppliers to optimize inventory and reduce waste.
Financial Management:
- Monitor financial performance, analyze sales data, and devise strategies to meet revenue goals.
- Develop and manage budgets, controlling expenses without compromising service quality.
Marketing and Promotions:
- Work with marketing teams to devise and execute promotional activities.
- Engage with social media and community events to boost the restaurant’s visibility.
Quality Control:
- Ensure the consistency and quality of food and beverage offerings.
- Conduct regular inspections to maintain cleanliness and presentation standards.
Technology Utilization:
- Proficiently utilize point-of-sale systems, reservation platforms, and other restaurant management software.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and technology to enhance operational efficiency.
Staff Training and Development:
- Conduct ongoing training sessions to enhance staff skills and service standards.
- Provide coaching and support for team members’ career development.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or in a similar leadership role in the hospitality industry.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- Thorough understanding of restaurant operations, including kitchen management and customer service.
- Proficiency in using point-of-sale systems and restaurant management software.
- Financial acumen and ability to manage budgets effectively.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and compliance.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Experience: 1 to less than 7 months
